  1. Think about last week specifically — not a typical week. What did you personally spend your time on?
  2. Which of those things would still be sitting undone if you'd been out sick all week?
  3. Wave a magic wand — one thing that goes wrong over and over stops happening. What did you pick?
  4. Tell me about a recent time an order, a shipment, or a customer relationship went sideways. What happened?
  5. What follow-up in the business doesn't reliably happen? Things someone should be chasing, but nobody has the hours for.
  6. Imagine one more capable person starting Monday. No salary — but they can only work with information that already exists in your systems and email, and they prepare and draft rather than send or commit anything without your approval. Where would you put them?
